DEAD ON ARRIVAL

Dead on Arrival is a game concept conceived in mid 2017 and has originally started development in September 2019.

​

The plot revolves around a group of criminals who break out of prison to recover their stolen memories.

​

In it's first iteration, Dead on Arrival started out as a Vaporwave inspired Hack'n'Slash game but due to work-related circumstances and technical limitations, had to be reworked into a Visual Novel. While the characters and aesthetics remain mostly the same, the Vaporwave theme was dropped in favor of a more twisted and complex plot.

A demo has been released, and the game remains on hold until further notice.

THE CHARACTERS

SIMON.

The Tactician. Unusually short temper underneath a calm and collected exterior.

Sees the positive things in situations and doesn't hesitate to take the lead.

NANCY.

The Misanthrope. Always angry at everything and everyone. Hates everyone she has to deal with, especially Simon because he's so calm about their current situation.

JASON.

The Rough Guy. Could care less about the fact that they broke out of prison, but still wonders how they got there in the first place. Prefers using force over talking.

BLODWEN.

The Oddball. Nervous, very very nervous. Prone to crying in every situation. Kind at heart and usually means well, but might not be the brightest of the group.
